Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 July 2026
This policy explains how Trade Lounge (the "Service"), operated by Mahdizadeh Consulting Group Inc. ("we", "us"), handles personal information.
What we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, and anything you write in a contact or access-request form. If you become a subscriber, we also hold account details and billing records processed by our payment provider, we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, pages requested) and, inside the product, the settings and preferences needed to deliver alerts you have asked for.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to administer beta access and subscriptions, to deliver the alerts and analytics you have configured, to keep the Service secure and available, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies required for it to function, plus privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics that do not build cross-site profiles. In the product, a session cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share with
We share personal information only with service providers acting on our instructions, hosting and infrastructure, transactional email delivery, payment processing, and error monitoring, each bound by contract to use it solely to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and of the Service.
How long we keep it
Contact and access-request messages are kept for up to 24 months. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes and legal obligations. Billing records are kept for the period required by Canadian tax law. Server logs are retained for a short operational window and then deleted.
Your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA)
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, withdraw consent (subject to legal and contractual limits), and complain to us or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Write to info@trade-lounge.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Rights of users in the EU, UK and other regions
If you are in the EU, the UK, or another region with comparable law, you may also have rights to erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object at any time. The same email address handles all such requests.
International transfers
We are based in Canada and our providers may process data in Canada, the United States and the European Union. Where information is transferred across borders we rely on recognised safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, and require providers to maintain protections comparable to those described here.
Children
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced by email to account holders before they take effect.
